Nothing Is More Important Than Your Relationship With Your Child

If you are in a child custody dispute, you may be facing the most difficult challenge of your life. The fear of not seeing your children may be so overwhelming that you’re not sure what steps to take next.

The best thing you can do in this situation is to work with an experienced family law attorney who will listen to you and thoroughly explain your rights and options. At the Law Office of Kathryn Borzillo, I help people in St. Louis and St. Charles protect their parental rights. You can rely on my experience and my commitment to each client. I will work with you from start to finish, making myself available to you throughout the process. Learn more about how I can guide you through even the most difficult child custody case.

A Unique Perspective On Missouri Child Custody

For many years, I have served as a Guardian ad Litem in circuit court and juvenile court. A Guardian ad Litem protects the rights of children in certain complex custody cases and when there have been allegations of abuse or neglect. This experience provides me with extensive knowledge of how our local courts look at child custody and family access (visitation).

Over the years, I have gained knowledge of how each judge may rule on custody cases. I am able to use this knowledge to advise clients on whether to file cases. In addition, in my experience as a Guardian ad Litem I have worked with many professionals, including parental counselors, therapists and behavioral therapists. I can recommend these professionals to clients as appropriate.

Let’s Talk About Your Custody Needs

Whether you are working out a custody agreement in negotiations, in mediation or at trial, you should have a lawyer protecting your rights. I will help you think about immediate custody issues as well as those that may arise in the future. If you need assistance modifying a custody agreement, I will carefully assess the situation to determine whether it is the right time to request a modification.
